Seems like forever since I've been gone so, an apology letter from me to you
Hi Beautiful People, it’s been a while out here, so can I just
tag this an apology letter or a reunion memorandum.
I’m sorry I stayed away for this long, and truth is that a
lot has gone down the trail in these past months and certainly somethings can’t
just be dealt with in ones might, we just got to let lose, sit back and watch
things unfold and hopefully for our good. I could go on to give a well detailed
excuse as to why I’ve not been consistent out here without mixing a word, but I
guess all that will be nothing but flimsy pleas to justify my absurd action.
Yeah, absurd because you all deserve a whole lot more. To make amends and
equate all sides, there is no way I’d be running away from explaining
regardless, with preference to those who hold me in high esteem, being on my
neck all this while, putting to my remembrance how ineffective my blog has been.
I will do a summary of the due explanations needed down
here, and I hope it hits the right spot to get us back on track – you and I for
sure -, but before then, I need to appreciate everyone who took out time to
read my last blog post on my NYSC Experience, I had over 300 views even though I
didn’t push much, that means a great deal to me, and the remarks have been
lovely. Let’s not get all into the awe of that by not doing more, so let’s get
down to a reconcile and get back on track.
I believe some of you can attest to the fact that there was
a particular point in time I had a challenge with my phone, and while I was having
my way round my most available resource, which is my PC, well, that dude just
one day decided not to come back on again. I could do no much but wonder how on
earth, but putting into consideration how long it’s been in use, I concluded
that must have been the end of an era, so I dumped it without taking a second
look back. And to say, I trust less technicians here in PH, so there was no
much motivation to do a check up as to what the exact fault is.
Afterwards, my phone was my only resolve and I couldn’t work
it too much so it could last me for as long as I could afford another one, but
at some particular point in time, it went off for about a month and came back to
life on the 4th of December—on this very day, I had a dreadful
experience I did like to share with you all, sometimes soon -.
At some point, a friend advised me to try power my PC with
another charger, but I know not many around here more or less those who got a
laptop with a charger compatible with mine. I almost gave up the chase, not
until a colleague at work came with her husband’s PC asking me to help out on
some basic things which I did. By so doing, I noticed the charger is same as
mine, the only challenge was that I wasn’t with my PC that very day, nonetheless,
it was a big relief for me. It took me a while to finally tell her I needed to
test my PC with her charger, and she agreed without much worries. It took her
some days before she finally remembered to bring the PC to work again, to the
point that I had to drop mine at work with the expectation that on the day she
finally remembers, and I wouldn’t be my own undoing when that day arrives.
The deed day came, got the PC tested with another charger
and it came back to life. On that very day, I completed the movie I was seeing the
last time I used the PC. The movie titled “A DOG’s JOURNEY”.

I’ve always been skeptical about buying things here in Port
Harcourt majorly because of the outrageous prices they slash on them. This for
a fact prolonged my getting a new charger. I needed the charger, so I asked a
friend to help me get one from Lagos, but he said the sellers request that he comes
with the PC. To cut the long story short, quarantining motivated me to go all
out on the 30th of March, 2020 to go check for a new charger, though
lock down has been in inception, I had to take my chances anyway, because I
needed a get away from spending too much time with my phone. I got a charger to
get my PC back to life. Although getting a new PC is paramount, regardless, I
will have to do with what I have presently till the door for a new one opens.
Less I forget, I got a new phone too, SAMSUNG Galaxy A10,
which I used in typing this article. It’s not what I wanted in consideration,
but at least will serve me better than the former, so I’m glad.
It’s been a roller coaster journey through 2020 personally,
and I know we all have got our share in bits of all that this year has sprouted
out already, and to mention there are still more days ahead, we can only hope
for the best. It’s a sensitive period for the whole world right now, do
yourself the favour of paying attention to details, do the needful by taking
all safety/preventive measures to avoid the spread of Covid-19. Stay home, Stay
safe.
I want to believe by now, I already have you to myself after
going through this tale of absence from duty which I take full blame for. I guess I’m prepared to take
you all on the journey through MY WORLD as I’d promised at the inception of
this space. So permit me to say again, Welcome to My World
Please do stay with me, let's ride together and I promise it's will be a great time together. It’s
going be a sweet ride having you journey with me.
Loads of Love from me to you and don’t forget to drop some
comments to affirm we are still good and also get me some encouragement, I need
loads of it you know. Thank you.
